I tend to keep my gear simple and proven. These pedals were recommended to me, and will do the same to you all that are interested.

(Overdrive): Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive

(Distortion): Hot Head (DigiTech)

First off, electric guitar is not my primary instrument, but it is one of my favorites to play. 

Epiphone (Gibson) les paul jr is how I roll.

It’s great for beginners up to those that just want a rockin’ axe that’s every low budget penny. 

Yamaha APX500 (black).

I have used numerous Yamaha acoustic guitars. I’m sure there are probably better acoustics out there, but I have enjoyed Yamaha. If you don’t have a huge budget, Yamaha usually has something for you. 

The APX series does have a tendency to be a little clangy, but there are some little things to help remedy that a bit. Like the right gage of strings and even picks. There isn’t much you can do when you choose shallow cut-away bodies. For what I do, and how I play, the APX series 500 is my primary choice for now.

 I received my Westone in-ear monitors this week. I just have to give them some love. Find a dealer near you and rock out some custom molds. The ES2s are my choice.
