Yup! As a part of the 1st WED events we are going to record a album here at TPC.
We are finishing up the writing and details for the event as we speak.
This has been a long time coming, and after much prayer, talking, writing, and waiting we are “going in the red”. We are EXTREMELY blessed to be able to pull off a project like this in the time that we are. Everyone involved are ALL a part of the church here. Only in Franklin. Wow.
If you are in the Nashville area, come on out and join the party. We’ll begin @ 6:30pm on the 1st.
The 2008 VMAs have a lot of people talking. So maybe they are getting what they wanted.
Before the show I said that the ONLY reason I am going to watch some of the VMAs was because of my friends in Paramore. There were a couple cool moments performance wise. The opening Rhianna tune was pretty cool in part, as well as Kayne’s closing song. Travis Barker and the DJ little filler slots were pretty cool, but that was about it.
As Jordan Sparks and John Legend presented an award, Jordan made a statement addressing the lame brit host Russell Brand. This dude had a funny moment when he kind of “apologized” to some of the crowd, but that only lasted for about 10 seconds. I find it odd when someone from another country entirely comes to the US and slams it’s politics. For the record, many of my friends are not fans of Bush or the last 8 years, and they STILL found Brand’s monolog lame.
Like I said on Twitter the night of, “How DO you have an award show of something that you don’t actually show? I haven’t seen an entire music video on mtv since ‘97.” It most definately wasn’t celebrating art.
Mtv, next year try to get back to the MUSIC. Does Mtv still stand for MUSIC television? Cause we’re all a little confused at your lameness.
I can’t remember ever addressing linkage, exchanges, etc. on here, but…
If you have a site and we don’t link exchange, but you want to, hit me up in the comments or contact page, and we’ll get that rollin’. Yeah, don’t be forgetting to link back hurr yo!
It can really help each other utilize online traffic by linking to the sites you read (and in return those sites linking back to you). This site receives 1000 + hits per day. Most of the (you) readers are in the world of art, music, ministry, and entertainment.
Hopefully, in some small way we are all trying to make this world a better place with the words, content, topics, and thoughts that we publish.
Show some “link love” (or rotating link love) out there, not just with me, but with each other.
If you want some “link love” (see sidebar), get at us. Shalom.
I’m probably not going to be posting a bunch of pics all the time on my little dude, but some people keep buggin’ me to post more. Well here’s a little somethin’ that is more fun than a bunch of pics.
It’s only 1:11. Give it a gander.
Thanks for all the emails, twitters, and messages that continue to come over the past month. Feeling the love.
