Muse: Haarp CD / DVD

Muse latest release is a live cd/dvd set, and… WOW! I have seen these guys twice and was blown away both times. This dvd is bigger than life. Geez.If you have been keeping up with me long, you probably know I have a man-crush on Matthew Bellamy (front man). Again I have to say, if this guy isn’t the most gifted he has to be one of the most talented dudes on planet earth. It’s magic when Matthew sits down at the piano for the first time (yeah notice the transparent top to the piano as well).There are places on this disc that I had chills just from the music alone. Then again when the crowd is singing their butts off. 70,000 strong filled and rocked Wembley Stadium.
This might be the best $14.00 I have spent this year. I have the cd in my # 5 slot in my car, and the dvd in my computer, and it won’t be ejected anytime soon.
THIS is rock music. If you love great artistic rock music, do yourself a favor and GO get this set.

I’m a guitarist but when watching one of his solos i just turned to my brother and said ‘Thats not playing guitar! Thats witchcraft!!!!’ cause it was so difficult to pull off

A friend turned me on to Muse three years ago with “Absolution”. I still prefer it to “Black Holes and Revelations” - somehow it just has an edge both in the playing and the song writing.
A few weeks ago I had a long car journey - Muse is the perfect companion to get you in the mood for Cairo traffic.
Can’t wait to try Haarp.
